We just compiled the list of most viewed tours on the Stuck in Iceland in October 2018. It is clear that our readers are fascinated with the northern lights, lava flowing indoors and the Snæfellsnes peninsula. All great choices for tours here in Iceland. An interesting hiking tour on the western edge of Reykjavik also makes the list. The list of the top 20 most viewed tours is simply a list from most read content on our Google Analytics account. We compile a new list every month and we hope it helps you to find the right tour for you.
Northern Lights Mini Bus tour comes out on top in October
The Northern Lights mini bus tour by EastWest tour company is the most viewed tour on the Stuck in Iceland tour portal. The tour jumps straight into first place and replaces the Pearl Tour which is operated by Mountaineers of Iceland. Our article featuring the Icelandic Lava Show was a big hit with our readers and certainly it seems that many are considering making the trip to Vík to see this unique show. It features lava flowing indoors and it is the only show to do so. In third place is a tour of the Snæfellsnes peninsula which is also operated by EastWest tour company. It features a dinner with locals and you travel around this beautiful area in a mini bus.
Get some Kleina!
One interesting addition in October is a tour that has been discovered by our community. This is the Reykjavik Beach Hike operated by Wandering Iceland. It features a half day hiking tour the nature reserve of Grótta and Seltjarnarnes peninsula. They give you a taste of shark, Brennivin snaps, a hot drink, a kleina (Icelandic donut) and local ice cream. They use the local bus or walk to get around.
Go Private with Moonwalker
Yet another interesting tour is the South Coast Private tour which is operated by Moonwalker. I happen to know Bessi of Moonwalker and he boasts a full house on Trip Advisor and on Facebook. Bessi takes his clients around the South of Iceland on his trusty Land Rover.
The connoisseurs in the Stuck in Iceland Community
It is pretty clear that the Stuck in Iceland community wants to travel in small groups, they want to meet the people here and learn about Icelandic culture, cuisine and history.
