Whale Watching

It’s so rare these days to be able to see whales in their natural habitat. Popping along to Sea World to watch Jimmy the Killer Whale swim around in his tank all day is one thing. But it’s nothing quite like seeing these majestic marine mammals in their natural habitat. In many regions of the country, there is organised whale watching tours. Companies work out the best times to watch the whales and when you can expect the most amount of activity from them. Whale watching is a unique, serene and touching experience and one that you must make sure you do.

There’s the Maelifell Volcano in Glacier Park, it’s a perfect cone shape and covered completely in moss. You could also pay a visit to Landmannalaugar, the popular tourist destination. This is a tourist hotspot where you can bask in the natural beauty of the area while enjoying social activities such as hiking. This is an opportunity you will not get again, so be sure you make the most of it.
