Create My Perfect Iceland Ring Road Trip

The Ring Road in Iceland is the setting of a many glorious road trip.
I completed one such trip last week where I traveled from my home in Reykjavik to the the village of Hvammstangi where I looked at the Seal Museum, then I drove to Akureyri, stopped at Lake Myvatn, did whale watching in Husavik with North Sailing and visited Dettifoss waterfall. Then we drove to the heavy metal festival of Eistnaflug at the Eastern town of Neskaupsstadur. After that the weather got bad and we drove some 700 kilometers in one go to Reykjavik, passing such destinations as Jokulsarlon glacial lagoon and Reynisfjara beach. It was nine hours of hard driving!
