First and foremost, it takes consistently providing exceptional service and memorable experiences to guests. This includes going above and beyond to meet and exceed their expectations. We ensure their safety and comfort, and deliver high-quality tours and services. Additionally, positive reviews and ratings from satisfied customers play a crucial role in winning such an award. What can a guest on the Glacier Hike and South Coast expect?
They can expect an unforgettable adventure that combines natural beauty, thrilling experiences, and cultural insights. One can witness stunning ice formations, deep crevasses, and sparkling blue ice on a glacier. They will explore the breathtaking South Coast of Iceland and visit iconic landmarks. These include the famous waterfalls Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss and the black sand beach of Reynisfjara. Along the way, they will learn about the country’s geology, folklore, and history from knowledgeable guides, making it a truly immersive experience.
You have a great Instagram feed that shows you traveling all over Iceland. What are your favorite activities and places here?
I find the South Coast and Glacier Hike to be an absolute delight, but I must admit, exploring the Icelandic highlands holds a special place in my heart. It brings me immense joy to guide travelers through the picturesque landscapes of Þórsmörk and Landmannalaugar. Additionally, visiting the Katla ice cave is always a remarkable and unforgettable experience.
What advice do you have for those visiting Iceland for the first time?
One of the critical aspects to remember, especially if you plan to stay outdoors for some time, is to be well-prepared for any weather conditions. Even during the summer months, the weather can be quite unpredictable. Packing layers, including a waterproof jacket, warm clothing, and sturdy shoes are important.
Let’s always remember to respect nature deeply and leave everything behind just as you found it.
And, of course, I encourage everyone to book a tour with us and enjoy wild nature & safe adventures.
