We recorded this video while staying at the farm of Midhvammur. The farm is on the Diamond Circle route. This farm has it all, great locally grown food and great people. We went out for a walk, and just a few minutes from the farm, we discovered this wonderful little lake.

Ásbyrgi is the oasis of the north.

Aldeyjarfoss waterfall – this remote waterfall is stunningly beautiful and framed by incredible basalt columns.

Goðafoss waterfall – is the waterfall of the Gods, closely linked to when Christianity was adopted by the Icelanders.

Dimmuborgir – even more stunning rock formations are in this impressive lava field.

Dettifoss waterfall The biggest waterfall in Iceland. It roars and splashes. This vast waterfall is a delight to experience and photograph.
